Egypt 2003 - Flora & Fauna
Most of the local fauna kept well away from us during our jaunt, apart from egrets around the River Nile, some smaller birds (bulbuls and the like), a few beetles, the occasional dog and some friendly cats. The flora, however, was endlessly fascinating, and less inclined to run away. Aromatic herbs of the Sinai deserts, much favoured by camels, are the subject of most of these photographs. Most were taken with a Minolta 50mm macro lens, on Fuji 100 ASA slide film.
